Our little wild explorers!

Year 1 and Year 2 became their very own little wild explorers this week as they headed off to Marwell Zoo for a day packed with discovery!

From learning all about the animals to coming home armed with plenty of brilliant new facts, there was lots to see, learn and enjoy.

A day full of wildlife, wonder and wonderful memories. What a fabulous day!

Our wonderful grounds give our Reception children endless opportunities to explore, discover and learn. From searching for colours in nature last week to learning through conkers this week. With the sun still shining, we are making the most of this weather.

And, of course, there’s always time for an adventure in Dingly Dell!

Champions!

A huge well done to our U11 girls, who headed off to Bryanston today for their tournament… and came home winners!

There were plenty of smiles, some fantastic teamwork and, clearly, a whole lot of winning!

What a brilliant achievement, well done, girls! Thank you Bryanston Prep for hosting a fantastic tournament.

A warm welcome begins here…

We’re delighted to share plans for a new nursery provision from January 2027, creating a wonderful opportunity for our youngest children and their families to become part of the Chafyn Godolphin community from the very beginning.

Adventure starts here!

Our Year 7s began Senior School with three brilliant days at Linkenholt, packed with outdoor challenges, teamwork and new friendships.

It’s wonderful to see some of last year’s Year 6 pupils finding their feet, getting stuck in and embracing the next stage of their Chafyn Godolphin journey.

Residentials start in Prep and grow with our pupils as they move through the school, preparing them for bigger adventures just like Linkenholt, greater independence and new experiences in Senior.

Today we celebrated European day of languages with a wonderful day of language, culture and plenty of fun.

In Prep, our theme was 'Idioms' - some fantastic costumes! Meanwhile, Pre-Prep celebrated all things French. From croissants to boules (alongside their weekly swimming session), there was plenty of French flair throughout the day.

From garden to kitchen!

As part of their afternoon activities this term, our Year 3 pupils are heading to the Senior School to take part in Leiths cookery sessions in our dedicated cookery room.

Last week, they turned butternut squash grown in our very own vegetable garden into delicious homemade soup, learning valuable food preparation and cookery skills along the way.

What a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of cooking from an early age, while making the most of the wonderful facilities and opportunities available across both our Prep and Senior sites.

A fantastic day of fundraising!

Today, the whole school got behind Macmillan Cancer Support . Across our Prep and Senior Schools, cakes were brought in, sold and very quickly eaten, all for a brilliant cause!

Our Sixth Formers then took the fundraising into Salisbury with their annual charity sing at the Old George Mall Salisbury . Their confidence was inspiring, their singing was brilliant and, most importantly, they had great fun raising money along the way.

Well done to everyone who baked, bought, sang and supported. What a wonderful school community! 💚

Making the most of September sunshine!

With the weather still being so kind to us, we’re making the most of our outdoor heated swimming pool.

How lucky our children are to enjoy such fantastic sporting facilities across both of our sites, providing so many opportunities to get active, develop new skills and, most importantly, have fun!
