That's a wrap on another fantastic school year at West Tytherley!

As we reach the end of this academic year, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful children, families and staff for making this year so special. We are incredibly proud of everything the children have done and grateful for the support of our amazing school community.

We hope everyone has a safe, happy and relaxing summer holiday, making lots of wonderful memories.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September for another exciting year! 📚

𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 👩‍🌾

Just in time for the end of term, the children are reaping the benefits of what they've sown... literally! 🍅🥔🌿

Today, some of the children had great fun harvesting tomatoes, potatoes, rhubarb and herbs from our garden. They also picked beautiful marigolds for flower printing and learned all about collecting seeds for planting next year. 🌼

It's been wonderful to see the children enjoying and learning from this special space. A huge thank you to everyone who has given their time and effort to help our vegetable garden thrive.

🩰 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱! 🐰

This week, Chestnut Class took part in the Royal Ballet and Opera live lesson: “Alice's Adventures”.

Alongside schools from across the country, the children learned and practised different dance movements before bringing them all together in a fantastic final performance that told the story of Alice in Wonderland. It was a fun, creative experience that got everyone moving and using their imagination! 🩰 🐰

⚽ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀: 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 📊

World Cup fever has hit West Tytherley, with children gathering and recording data about the World Cup as part of their Maths lessons.

Children worked in groups to come up with a World Cup question, before visiting other classes to gather responses. They recorded their results in a tally chart, bar chart and pictogram.

Good luck, England! It’s time to multiply the goals, subtract the pressure, divide the opposition and equal your dreams!

A huge well done to our Key Stage 2 children for their fantastic summer production of Alice in Wonderland! 🐇🎩

Oak and Willow Class truly brought Wonderland to life with their incredible singing, dancing and acting. Everyone worked so hard to learn their lines and perfect their performances!

The costumes and props were absolutely amazing and helped create a truly enchanting world. A special thank you goes to the children for their creativity and hard work in making many of these, along with our incredibly helpful and crafty parents who shared their time and talents to support the production.

We are so proud of every single child who took part. This magical show will be remembered for a long time!

Bravo, Oak and Willow Class — you were simply WONDER-ful! 🎭
