Teacher travels! Staying in the UK this time, but heading up to Birmingham....
😲 Wow, wow, wow!! Mrs McIlvar is seeing the action first hand - well done to Team GB mixed relay team for winning gold! What a great show of our school values of resilience and love. It's bringing back memories of when Jason Gardener visited the school to share with us the dedication and passion needed to get to gold 🥇

Teacher travels...part 2!
Mr Page was held up in Sicily due to Mt. Etna erupting, so what better opportunity to find out all about St. Agatha, visiting the cathedral there and learning how her veil was used to stop the lava after her martyr death.

Mr Page was lucky enough to see some of the spectacular festivities in honour of St. Mary of Portosalvo when he saw the solemn procession with the Statue of the Madonna. (Videos in comments)

It's the parish BBQ and family fun day today: delicious food, games, bouncy castle and more! At Lords Croft from 12noon, after Mass! We'll be there and hope you will too!

Thank you to our amazing pupils and parents for the wonderful cards, messages and gifts. Our staff are especially loving how beautiful the flowers look in our homes, and are a perfect reminder of the joy we've had in seeing each and every one of our pupils flourish! 💐
