It’s going to be hot today, but even hotter on Wednesday and Thursday. With this in mind, children can wear PE kits (dark shorts, white t shirts) or suitable loose fitting clothes to school. They also need a refillable water bottle. We are taking early breaks, staying in the shade, keeping rooms cool and staying calm.

It looks like Monday is going to be hot and sunny for Philosopher’s trip to the Chalke Valley history festival. ☀️ Please remember to wear sun cream, bring a sun hat 🧢 and include plenty of drink with your packed lunch. 💦 🥤

The weather looks like it will be perfect for our Sports Day Carousel this afternoon. Gates will be open at 1:05 for parents to sign in. Please remember that children will need water bottles and usual PE kit today (plain dark shorts, leggings or joggers, a plain white t-shirt and trainers.)

Tomorrow is David Attenborough’s 100th birthday and children are invited to come to school dressed as an animal to celebrate. There’ll be a whole host of animal based learning tomorrow 😊
