The magical Woodland

We are so proud to have our allotment.
Our allotment also has a lovely space to play, learn, explore and connect with nature. 🌞🌱 A welcoming little area where children can discover, get curious, have fun and learn through hands-on experiences in the great outdoors. 💚🌻

Everything is growing amazing . The children love the raspberries, blackberries and the last strawberries.

Harvesting Potatoes (hide and seek)

Children dug up potatoes from the allotment and discovered they grow underground. They counted the potatoes, compared their sizes, and talked about how they looked and felt. This activity supported children's understanding of where food comes from while developing their language, grossMotorSkills, maths, and physical skills.

I hope they taste delicious 😋

We visited the garden centre to buy a few more plants for our allotment. We found these beautiful wooden flowers 🌻 to decorate, ate our snack (peas) fr the allotment and used our imagination to build our house out of sticks.
