Thursday landbased crew carrying out tool maintenance and covering health and safety in the woodland.

A throw back to June for the landbased Tuesday crew. Bottle feeding baby lambs. Deep diving into horse care, seed bombs and a joint clay creation of a horse.

Over the May half term I ran a fundraiser session to help raise money and awareness of the Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) charity.

As some may be aware, our grandson was born with PIGA-CDG which is a rare genetic condition. There is currently no cure, and the diagnosis is life-limiting.

With the help of some beautiful souls, I was able to create a wonderful day for parents and young people to enjoy.
We investigated the ponds, played games, created art pieces, ate a wonderful spread of food and finished off with a guided bat walk.
A massive thank you to those who helped and joined the session. We managed to raise £420. There is a link in my bio if you would like to donate too.

The theme for the may term cook off for the Thursday Landbased crew was meat and it didn't disappoint.
Home made burgers,fried chicken, lamb gyros, pork jam! Washed down with lemon iced tea.
Followed by bat, bug and bird box creations.
