Tax-Free Childcare: Good News for New Starters and Returners
A quick one to share with your parents - those starting or returning to work between 1 May and 30 September 2026 can now apply for Tax-Free Childcare from 1 April 2026. This means they can get their accounts set up and funded ahead of actually starting work.
Tax-Free Childcare provides up to £2,000 per child per year (the government tops up £2 for every £8 paid in), and it covers approved childcare including after-school clubs and holiday clubs. It’s worth reminding parents about this - many still don’t know it exists or that it covers wraparound and holiday provision.

Dear parents.

We have several jackets and coats left from holiday club the other week. Please have a look in the reception area if your child is in this week. There are also a few bits and bobs left. Please see pictures.

Well what an amazing term we have had. Great weather, lovely children and a great team. I couldn't ask for more.

As we come to the end of the school year. We have had to say our goodbyes to our year 6 children. 😢 we will miss them so much. They are a lovely bunch and are a credit to their parents. 💖We have watched them grow over the years and I can't believe they are leaving. We wish them all the best in high school. You will all do amazing.

We are also saying goodbye to some of our staff. Sadly fiona (Miss Harris) is retiring and we wish her a happy and joyful retirement. She has been with the club for over 20 years. ❤️

Bethany is moving on to bigger opportunities. She will be working as a children's nurse. We wish her all the best. ❤️

I will like to thank all the staff for their dedication and hard work and the parents for their continued support.
