Finished off the summer holidays with the older children with a walk to feed the ducks 🦆🦢 this summer has definitely flown by.

Today at Forest Fox 🦊 Cubs, there were plans for a bug hunt. Children decided no bug hunt today but lots of building castles in the sand, painting, playing in the mud kitchen, making towers, and reading books in the den! Incredible Education

Lots to do at Forest Fox 🦊 Cubs this morning. Foraging for flowers to make some flower prints. Digging in the sandpit. Making leaf, stick and mud soup in the mud kitchen, lots of pouring and mixing. Mud painting, building towers and collecting small plums off the floor. Incredible Education

Wow what a fab morning at Forest Fox 🦊 Cubs. We started off the session by collecting leaves around the garden, we then banged them with hammers onto some fabric to make some leaf prints. Lots of muddy play in the mud kitchen, painting and bug collecting 🕷🪳🪱 Incredible Education

Another super morning at Forest Fox 🦊 Cubs. Lots of scooping and pouring mud, building castles, water play in the mud kitchen, bug hunting, bug game being bugs, and looking at Kate's bug collection 🪲🐌🪱🐝🦋 Incredible Education

Last day with the half term children here today and we decided to go litter picking. We grabbed some bags and litter pickers from Cleavley Community Forest Garden, managed to fill nearly 3 bin bags full! Enjoyed our free soft drinks and coffee at the end and we even got to play in the mud kitchen even though it was raining. Incredible Education

Made it to Manchester Science and Industry Museum today despite getting caught in the rain. 🌧

Back at Forest Fox 🦊 Cubs today, planting beans, making mud pies, stacking towers, painting, finding apples and getting involved in a bean game being beans, runner beans, baked beans, string beans. Incredible Education

Second week of half term. Today we enjoyed a walk around dukes drive 🚶‍♀️

Lovely morning/afternoon spent around Salford Quays today, where we went on a Corgi Jubilee trail, played ping pong, coloured some pictures and went on a short walk.

Amazing what ideas the children come up with when you give them a tray full of coloured pasta, we made tea for the queen, talked about what the jubilee is, went shopping at a shop full of coloured pasta, colour sorted, estimated how many pasta would fit in different pots, counted, poured, scooped, filled. Lots of learning opportunities. 🎂 🍝 🛍 🎨 👑🧮

Back at Little Creatives at The Lowry Lookout today for some Jubilee themed crafts and sensory play. 👑
