I am so excited that now I've got the new website up and running I've created a new Blog!
This first one is a little introduction about what I am aiming to achieve and I will be spreading information about what is on locally, parenting tips and hacks as well as finding you the must-have products that make you and the little ones smile.
I hope that we can embark on this adventure together!

Some pictures from back in the day...
ECCLES is a n the City of Salford, a metropolitan borough of Greater Manchester in North West England, 2.7 miles (4.3 km) west of Salford and 3.7 miles (6.0 km) west of Manchester city centre. Eccles lies on sloping ground between the M602 motorway to the north and the Manchester Ship Canal to the south. Parts of the town are among the worst 20% in the UK for child poverty, and the unemployment rate is slightly above the national average. The town's present-day landscape is dominated by residential tower blocks, forming a stark contrast with the surrounding Victorian terraced housing.
Historically in Lancashire, the town grew up around the 13th-century Parish Church of St Mary. Evidence of pre-historic human settlement has been discovered locally but the area was predominantly agricultural until the Industrial Revolution, when a textile industry was established in the town. The arrival of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, the world's first passenger railway, led to the town's expansion along the route of the track linking those two cities; as of 2009 Salford City Council is bidding for the railway to be included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Eccles was not immune to the general 20th-century decline of the United Kingdom's textile industry.

Scumbags... π€¬
Again, we must mention the graffiti that has appeared this morning on our Shelter.
Thank you to Salford City Council for their speedy response to this again.
Iβm sure Iβm not the only one who is disappointed to be seeing this again and we can only hope that, with the continued support of our residents and neighbours, we can help prevent this from happening again.
CCTV installation is in process so we will get to the bottom of it one way or another.
