Over the summer I have begged and pleaded for donations 😂 Not because we do not want to buy things, but because we LOVE to recycle, reuse and find those quirky, old-fashioned treasures that you simply cannot buy anymore!

Our nurseries are built with a lot of hard work, amazing staff, a little bit of madness and a dash of randomness but a HUGE amount of Irlam and Cadishead community spirit. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to our dear friend Pauline Watson and her treasure trove of a summer house and to Princes Park Garden Centre — another absolute local GEM💎- so please support them if you can. They need to be cloned a million times over.

And to our amazing handy person, who takes our crazy visions and somehow turns them into reality in less than 24hrs some days — we genuinely COULD NOT have done it without you literally. You rocked up randomly without even asking everyday - and we will take you think we are HARD-WORK as a compliment 🙈 😬 but THANK YOU every nursery needs one of you …

A massive thank you to Angela and The David Pennington Charity — please consider always supporting one of their amazing fundraising events they are incredible.

Apologies… I feel like we are always asking!

But some of the best resources simply can’t be bought new — they just don’t make things like they used to nowadays !

We are currently on the lookout for:

• 2 pairs of vintage/traditional curtains — we appreciate this is a big ask!
• If not vintage, any traditional-style curtains would be amazing
• Vintage lamps — the more old-fashioned and quirky, the better!
• Anything vintage for our home corner

We absolutely love creating homely, curiosity-inspired spaces using real-life and open-ended resources for our children.

We appreciate our Irlam & Cadishead communities so much. The incredible resources our children get to explore are often only possible because of the lovely things our community donates rather than throws away.

You really do help us create something very special for our children. ❤️

If you have anything tucked away in a loft, cupboard or spare room that you think might work, please drop us a message before getting rid of it!

Due to a group of our Year 6 children leaving us for their next adventure, we now have some rare availability at our lovely St Joseph’s Breakfast & After School Club.

✨ Open 7:30am – 6:00pm
✨ Based on the school site
✨ Children can continue to access the wider curriculum and opportunities that the beautiful school has to offer
✨ A highly qualified, experienced team creating a warm, family-like environment

CHILDCARE • PLACES

Some very RARE childcare places have become available at our Irlam setting, due to some of our children transferring up to our new Cadishead setting - leaving their places limited !

Our very popular Irlam setting has a waiting list during the year, so these places are very rare at this time of the year and we would advise being quick!

Open 7:30am–5:30pm all year round with an optional holiday club.
Funded hours 8:45am–3:15pm — helping families get more from their funding.

No consumable fees • No registration fees • No top-up fees
