Adelphi Contemporary Music Group in concert
Wednesday 1st April, 7 PM, New Adelphi Bandroom
FREE ADMISSION
As well as brand new pieces by Ash McAulay, Graeme Sherriff and Jostine Loubser, the concert will feature live performance of Phil Brissenden's surround-sound piece 'Not for Ourselves', premiered at Joddrell Bank in 2024. Also in surround sound will be a diffusion of a collaborative composition A Gathered Stillness, from a 2024 project led by Alan Williams, which explores Quaker experiences of silence. The event will finish at 9pm.

Join us for a relaxing vocal workshop with (ingridplum.org/about) exploring gentle movement, somatic sounding and ensemble singing. We will be doing exercises in breath work, SOVT, improvisation and working with compositions from Meredith Monk, Pauline Oliveros, & more! All voices are welcome, no experience necessary.

On Tuesday the 17th of March, the University of Salford's music department will take over one of Manchester's most iconic live music establishments, showcasing student bands and solo artists on the venue's two stages. Students - get your tickets for just £2.50 via the QR code (£6 on the door).

Enjoy an evening of performances from Salford’s vocal students backed by the House Trio, and performances from the university choir, all in the inspirational setting of Peel Hall. Admission is completely free and there will be a pop-up bar provided by the Students’ Union. Free tea and coffee will also be on offer.
