USSU Squash

Any new members of this post the squash club is currently inactive due to lack of members from last year. If you are interested in the squash club please speak to the us about establishing one. If that can’t happen and you want to play there is a squash league as part of the sports centre and please right your name down on the sheet outside the squash courts

We are holding a taster session tonight @ 5:30 at the sports centre anyone is welcome, come down and try it out and bring your friends!!

Mini leagues are now here!!!
The rules:
1. English rules apply
2.First to 9
3.If games get to 8-8 then win by 2 points
I.e 11-9 or 14-12
4. Best of 5 games
5.3-0 win = 3 points for winner and 0 for loser
3-1 wine = 3 points for winner and 1 for loser
and so on
6.Game lasts 40 minutes result at the end of the 40 minutes is final
7. You have 3 weeks to play your 2 games if you fail to play your game it will go down as 0-0
8.If you have tried to organise your fixture and the other person fails to show or doesn't make an attempt then it will go down as 3-0

Current table for 1st team, so far so good. Play Chester in 2 weeks which could determine the outcome of the league!!!

Rec night has been announced and the theme is video games.... we have decided to go as TMNT

Disappointing 2-1 loss today for the men's first team with Ben and Matt losing their games 3-1 and 3-2 respectively and Sam winning the only match 3-0

Women's and beginners coaching tonight at 5:30... hope to see everyone there and anyone new are always welcome to come down.

With sam winning 3-0 an impressive performance today with the men's 1st team winning 3-0.
Unfortunately the women's team were unlucky and lost 4-0 to Manchester 1st, next time!!👌🏻
