Our biggest Print Fair yet is just around the corner!!
Join us on 27th & 28th June as Hot Bed Press fills up with 50+ artists, printmakers and creatives.

Have a listen to while you browse original prints and handmade goods, have a go at printmaking activities, grab a coffee, and even take a peek behind the scenes with tours of our upstairs studios.

Whether you’re a fellow printmaker, or just looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone.

June is looking fun at Hot Bed Press at the moment!

This month we’re diving into a range of printmaking processes, from expressive mark-making in Drypoint to our popular Introduction to Screenprint weekend course.

We’re also kicking off Introduction to Etching, a four week evening course exploring one of printmaking’s most rewarding techniques, as well as a paper collage session to get stuck into.

Whether you’re completely new to print or looking to build on existing skills, please come along, we would love to help you learn a new skill!

What a lovely evening celebrating the life and art of Lisa Clare who we all miss greatly. So many amazing, funny and beautiful prints all around the workshop.

Such a lot of people who came to see the work and maybe pick up a print. A testament to how well loved Lisa was and how much love and light she brought into all our lives.

Hot Bed Press is proud to have been an important part of Lisa's life, and to see so many of her works up here in one go is to say the least emotional.

There are hundreds of prints available... for a donation. All money raised will go towards supporting printmakers as a legacy of Lisa. We will be announcing some special residencies after June.

Many thanks to Alex, Alison, Doug and everyone involved in putting on a wonderful show.

There will be another evening at the end of the show on 22nd June where prints can be purchased by donation. (If there are any left. It's such a popular event.)

Lisa would be proud, probably slightly embarrassed and just happy to see so many friends. I can almost hear her laughing and chatting away in the background.

We’re excited to share our full Summer course programme- 11 courses running from May to August!

From monoprinting, screenprint and etching to paper marbling, textiles and pinhole photography, there’s plenty to get stuck into across weekend, evening and one-day workshops.

We’ve got a lovely pair of May weekend courses coming up at Hot Bed Press!

Monoprinting- 16th & 17th invites you to explore expressive mark making, layering colour, and creating one-off prints. Perfect for anyone interested in getting to know printmaking or anyone wanting to freshen up and bring new life to their drawing practice.

Later in the month, Block Printed Textiles- 30th & 31st combines lino cutting, pattern, and fabric- ending with your own hand-printed lampshade and cushion for your home! All materials provided.

A perfect chance to try something new and spend a weekend getting creative.
