Katy Brown Music Tuition Katy Brown is a qualified music teacher with over 6 years’ experience delivering music tuition within schools across Greater Manchester.

She holds a 2:1 degree in Popular Music and Recording from The University of Salford, specialising in arranging, composing and performing. Katy also has a PGCE in Secondary music education from Manchester Metropolitan University. Katy provides private piano and music theory tuition to all age groups. She teaches a variety of styles including classical, jazz and pop. She prides herself in tailoring

classes to the individuals needs and aspirations and in making music enjoyable, accessible and fun. Katy can provide lessons either from her home in Eccles, Salford or is willing to travel to students within the Salford and South Manchester area. As well working as a private music teacher, Katy works part time in a local primary school where she is employed to teach music, piano and raise the profile of music within education. Katy also plays piano in a musical duo arranging cover versions of popular songs. Services include:
