Salford Snow University of Salford’s Ski and Snowboard Society SalfordSnow is a club for everyone.

We’re all about having a good time whether we’re on the slopes abroad, out in the town or just in the Student Union bar! Here's what we do!

* Weekly Chill Factore Trips including Lessons, Race & Freestyle training
* Weekly social events
* Annual Holiday to the Alps
* Monthly big social where many many crazy things will happen
* Lots of cheap deals for members and discounts at select online retail

+ much more! As you may have already heard, joining a club at university is a GREAT way to meet new people. It’s also a good way of getting to know students who already know what it’s like to live in/around Manchester, who can show you the best places to go out and who can help you with your boarding or skiing. PAS VEGAS 24/25 WE LOVE YOU❤️

To every single one of you who came on this trip we want to thank you for such a brilliant time. This trip was beyond anything we could have expected and that’s all thanks to you!

We had wacky costumes, excellent skiing + boarding from both experienced goers and learners, floor licking, 🍑’s set on fire, the pope✝️?, valley rally’s, dj sets, aprés, kangaroo court, broken limbs, dancing, drinking, you name it🙂‍↕️

COMMITTEE ROLES FOR 2025/2026 😉😉

First steps : make a poster outlining why you should be chosen for the role, and post in the members chat and on your story (make sure to tag )

‼️PRESIDENT, SOCIAL SEC and TREASURE you will also need to nominate yourself on the SU website
- deadline to nominate yourself is 00:00 on Thursday ( you don’t need your poster by this stage though)‼️

The current committee will post our posters in the members chat for guidance!

Our AGM date is not yet confirmed but it will be the first week of term- for this you will have to prepare a 2-3 minute speech to preform in front of everyone 🔥
