Tomorrow the schools begin to open fully again 👏
If you have been home schooling your older children then we applaud you. Finally, we see some normality returning and a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel ⭐
It has not been easy, but you did it. You taught your children Maths, Science, English, but more importantly you have taught them not to give up, to face challenges, to be themselves and to always support each other. That is truly something special 💛

This year may have not been the year we all wished for. Our children have had to stay in, they have had times when McDonald’s was not open!!

Times of parents and guardians worrying how they will provide and feed their children. Many may have lost loved ones along the way.

At nursery we are here to lessen that burden of worry. To support children to be happy and to have lovely rich learning experiences. Today has been a beautiful day at nursery. A time of joy, love, happiness and Christmas cheer.

Our children at Little Saints mean the world to us. We have partied and played games and to top it off we have had a visit from the North Pole. Father Christmas has been to visit our children and brought them presents!

. Most of all believe we can get through this time together.

Places still available for January 2020. Please enquire within or phone the nursery to speak to Liz the manager on 0161 790 3366.

We are beginning to get Christmas ready!
The children this week have absolutely loved helping to decorate the nursery. We have begun creating Christmas decorations and doing Christmas craft with them. They have especially liked the gingerbread story. During outdoor play they play they have acted out the story and ran saying you can’t catch me I am the gingerbread man.
Our children have helped make post boxes and we have begun discussing with them what they would like for Christmas. This week we are going to write letters to Father Christmas and do many more exciting festive activities.

Please watch this space for future activities from your children:

We have created some lovely activities for children to participate in, in preparation for bonfire night and Remembrance Sunday. Today the children really engaged with all the activities. By role-playing in the firework shop, pretending to have a bonfire and making the different sounds of the fireworks. For Remembrance Sunday we have begun to create wreaths in respect for our soldiers both past and present. The children are in the process of creating individual poppy pictures to take home and a wreath to be taken to the cenotaph. “Lest we forget”
