At this weekend’s Scottish Tournament, we made it into the top 10 schools for the second year in a row, coming 9th overall with a total of 69 points!

This weekend we took a team of 8 competitors up to the WKSA Scottish Tournament. Everyone was successful, coming away with several medals each! 🥇🥇

We had a fantastic time at our Masters Seminar on Thursday, covering self defence, Ssang Jool b**g, sword sparring, and grappling.

A huge thank you to Chong Jae Nim, SSKJN John, and JDKJN Nick for giving us their time and knowledge.

I was reminded today of why we do what we do.

This morning, I ran a 5k with some of the gang from . This was the third run in the K*k Sool Trail Series, a collection of runs throughout the year with all proceeds going to Halton Cancer Support Group.

It was fantastic to see so many people make the journey out of town to be a part of something bigger. No competing for the best time, no medals, just a group of people all out there getting involved for a great cause.

For me, that’s what K*k Sool should be. Yes, we train to be good martial artists, but more importantly, we build a strong community filled with good people.

Some of the best memories I’ve made in the last two years have been from getting to do what I love, with people that have become my closest friends.

From belting out the tunes on a four hour road trip to tournament, to picking each other up off the mats after a tough testing session, we support each other, every step of the way.

If you’re looking for somewhere to train hard, have a laugh, and be surrounded by great people, come visit us. Everyone is welcome.

This is what it’s all about. Working hard, being part of a community where people push each other to keep getting better...
