The nursery aims to provide a happy and secure environment for your child. The activities in the nursery are all based on the belief that children learn through play. Your child while attending nursery will experience a variety of stimulating activities through which they will begin to learn many of the basic skills for reading, writing and numeracy.

🌟 June Highlights 💫

What a fantastic and busy month we've had at nursery! June has been packed with smiles, laughter, and lots of exciting activities. 🌈

Our children loved getting creative by making special cards for the amazing men in their lives to celebrate Father's Day. 💙

We've also been getting into the football spirit by taking part in fun World Cup-themed activities, practising our skills, and cheering on our favourite teams! ⚽🏆

To finish off the month, we made the most of the sunshine while keeping cool during the heatwave with plenty of water play, refreshing treats, and outdoor fun. ☀️💦

We can't wait to see what exciting adventures July has in store!

🌼 A Big Thank You From All of Us 🌼

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Family Day on Saturday, and to those who couldn’t make it but still supported us by buying raffle tickets. Your kindness and generosity mean so much, and together you’ve helped us support our chosen charity, Francis House.

A special thank you also goes to our wonderful staff for all their hard work in making the day run so smoothly. It was a real team effort, and I personally loved having the chance to meet more of our families.

Thanks to your amazing support, we’ve raised another £1,000 for Francis House this year — a fantastic achievement.

Today we say goodbye to our lovely caretaker, Paul, who has been a valued part of our nursery family since 2009.

We wish Paul a happy and well-deserved retirement and thank him for his many years of dedicated service and loyalty. His hard work has helped keep our nursery safe, secure, clean, and welcoming for everyone.

You will be greatly missed by all of us, Paul. We wish you all the very best for the future and hope you enjoy every moment of your retirement. 💙

🐣Exploring the life cycles of a chicken and butterfly at nursery🦋

Over the past two weeks, the children have had the opportunity to observe real changes and growth first-hand, helping to bring learning to life in a meaningful and memorable way.
Some of the benefits include:

✨Developing curiosity and a love of nature as children ask questions, observe changes, and explore the world around them.

✨Encouraging understanding of life cycles, growth, and change through real-life experiences.

✨Supporting language development by introducing new vocabulary such as hatch, chick, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly.

✨Enhancing observation skills as they notice similarities, differences, and daily changes.

✨Promoting awe and wonder through exciting hands-on experiences that spark imagination and engagement.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon the whole family can enjoy! There’ll be plenty of activities, laughter, and great company—all while supporting a wonderful cause.
We’ll be raising money for Francis House Children’s Hospice, so come along, bring your friends and family, and help make a difference. 💙

The day will also mark Paul’s retirement after 17 amazing years helping to keep the nursery clean, safe, and secure for everyone. We’re so grateful for everything he’s done, and families will have the chance to see him and say goodbye in person 💞

5🌟 Food Hygiene Rating

We’re delighted to share that during Friday’s routine visit from Trafford Environmental Health, we passed once again with flying colours.

The inspector had particularly high praise for Marie, highlighting the incredible work she does—not only in the kitchen but throughout the nursery. While we already know how valuable she is, it was wonderful to hear such positive recognition from an external perspective.

🐰 Happy Easter to all our families and friends! 🐣

The children have had a lovely couple of weeks at nursery, enjoying lots of egg-citing Easter-themed activities 🥕🐰🐣🌱

We hope your sunflowers are growing well, we’d love to see your updates! 🌻

A highlight for the children was special visits from Peter Rabbit 🐰 They had so much fun asking him Easter-related questions, especially about carrots and Easter eggs, and even tried to make him hop!
