At Maple House, we lead with warmth, backed by clear systems and strong standards. 🧑

Your child will be genuinely nurtured here. Our team creates an environment where they feel secure, truly seen, and celebrated every single day. We know that when a child feels safe, they can become anything. That's where real development begins.

We don't just provide care, we build relationships. Your child is known deeply. Their needs are understood. Their voice is heard. Learning happens naturally through play, exploration, and genuine connection with adults who are invested in who they're becoming.

And alongside that nurturing foundation, we offer something extra: our large, spacious garden. It's there for when your child is ready to explore, discover, and play freely in an environment that gives them room to grow in every way.

Maple House. Where nurturing care, strong relationships, and beautiful outdoor spaces grow confident, happy, thriving children. 🌿

Children learn best when they're curious about the world around them. ✨

At Maple House, we don't plan our activities in isolation. We watch what captures children's attention, a ladybird on a fence, puddles after rain, the way leaves change, and we build from there. When children lead the inquiry, learning becomes purposeful.

Across our nursery, children love to explore nature and life cycles. Asking questions, testing ideas. A simple question like "Where do tadpoles go?" becomes an invitation to watch, investigate, wonder. They're learning to think critically, to notice patterns, to ask better questions. They're building vocabulary around the natural world. They're developing early scientific thinking, all through play that feels completely natural to them.

But beneath the surface, something deeper is happening. Children are learning that their ideas matter. That the world is worth paying attention to. That there are conversations worth having about how we care for living things, what we notice changing, why it matters.

These aren't separate from the fundamentals children need, they are the foundation. Curiosity, persistence, problem-solving, communication, these are the skills that will carry them through school and beyond.

Nature becomes the teacher. And children become young thinkers. πŸ’š

More than a nursery. A community. πŸ’›

At Maple House, we believe that what we do extends far beyond childcare. We're a community, a place where children are known, families are supported, and every person who walks through our doors is treated with genuine respect and care.

Our team doesn't just look after children. We champion their growth, celebrate their milestones, and build the kind of relationships that make families feel truly at home. We listen to parents, we honour each child's uniqueness, and we show up every single day thinking about how we can do better.

We're also deeply connected to the wider community around us. We don't exist in isolation, we're part of something bigger, and we're committed to showing respect and kindness to everyone we meet and work alongside.

Because at Maple House, it's not just what we do. It's who we are. 🌿

Where children truly belong πŸ’›

At Maple House, we know that belonging comes before everything else. Before learning, before confidence, before a child can truly flourish, they need to feel safe. Seen. Known.

Our team creates that intentionally. We watch for the quiet child finding their moment to join in. We celebrate when a new friendship takes root. We listen when a child has something to say, however they choose to say it.

Real friendships grow here, not by chance, but because we build the conditions for them.

✨ A child arrives uncertain and finds a familiar face that makes them smile.

✨ A child with a question finds adults who genuinely listen.

✨ A child with an idea finds playmates who want to explore it with them.

These connections matter deeply. When children feel they belong, they become braver. They try new things. They're kinder to one another and more willing to take learning risks. They develop the emotional foundation that shapes everything else.

At Maple House, every child is welcomed exactly as they are. Our role isn't just to care for them, it's to make sure they know, from day one, that they matter here.

Safety is emotional, not just physical. It's feeling that the adults around you see your potential and believe in your place in our community.

That's where real happiness grows. πŸ’›

At Maple House, we don't follow a predetermined plan. Instead, we listen to what children are drawn to, and we build our curriculum around their interests, questions and discoveries.

Observation is where it all starts. Our team takes time to really see what's capturing each child's attention.

πŸ’« What are they experimenting with?

πŸ’« What problems are they trying to solve?

πŸ’« What brings them back again and again?

These observations become the blueprint for what happens next.

A child mesmerised by shadows becomes a light explorer. Children painting and mixing colours become artists discovering how pigments blend and change. A group fascinated by bugs becomes naturalists investigating the garden. We notice, we respond, and we create experiences that deepen that learning.

Both our indoor and outdoor environments are alive with possibility. The garden isn't separate from learning, it's central to it. Open-ended materials, natural resources, space to move and think freely.

Inside, the same philosophy applies: environments that evolve based on what children are actually interested in, not what we think they should do.

This is co-creation in action. Children aren't passive learners following instructions. They're investigators, tinkerers, creators. They develop genuine curiosity because they're pursuing their own questions. They build resilience by experimenting, discovering what works, adjusting, trying again.

When children lead their own learning journey, confidence follows naturally. And that changes everything. 🧑

The future is shaped by the choices we make today. 🌍

At Maple House, our team recently came together for a dedicated Sustainability Meeting to reflect on how we can continue creating a nursery environment that supports both our children and the world they'll grow up in.

We explored new ideas to make sustainability part of everyday nursery life, from inspiring children to care for nature through meaningful experiences, to reducing waste, making thoughtful choices and encouraging healthy habits that benefit both people and the planet.

By introducing these values from an early age, we're helping children develop kindness, curiosity and a growing understanding that even the smallest actions can make a positive difference.

As a team, we're passionate about creating a culture where caring for our environment becomes second nature, empowering the next generation to become thoughtful, responsible citizens.

🌿 Every positive choice counts, and we're excited to continue this journey together.

Keep an eye on our page over the coming weeks as we share the sustainable projects and activities taking place across Maple House! πŸ’š

Home is a feeling. πŸ’›

At Maple House, we know that choosing a nursery is about so much more than finding childcare. It's about finding a place where your child feels safe, loved and truly understood.

That's why we've created an environment that feels like a home from home, where every child is nurtured with kindness, cared for as an individual, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

Everything we do is built on trust, strong relationships and always putting the children's best interests at the heart of every decision. Because when children feel secure and valued, their confidence grows, their curiosity flourishes, and they know they belong.

For us, it's never just about caring for children, it's about helping them feel at home, every single day. 🌿

Building curious minds for a lifetime of learning. 🌍✨

At Maple House, we use STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) as an integral part of our curriculum, creating meaningful experiences that inspire children to ask questions, solve problems and explore the world around them.

Through carefully planned opportunities, children investigate, design, create, experiment and discover, developing the confidence to think critically and embrace new challenges. From engineering structures and exploring scientific concepts to expressing creativity through art and applying early mathematical thinking, every experience builds on their knowledge and skills.

By enriching our curriculum with real-life experiences and meaningful opportunities, we help broaden children's cultural capital, giving them the knowledge, confidence and curiosity to understand the world beyond their immediate environment.

Because the experiences children have today become the foundations they build on tomorrow. At Maple House, we're nurturing confident, capable learners who are ready for whatever the future holds. 🌿
