Trafford Music Service is committed to continuing to provide high quality music making opportunities for all children and young people in Trafford. As part of Trafford Council we are proud to be working in partnership with all Trafford Primary schools and an increasing number of secondary schools. As well as high-quality music making opportunities in schools, we offer out-of-hours opportunities an

d progression routes through our Music Centres and Youth Orchestras. We also target support to enable access to music making for our most vulnerable families. We are delighted to be part of the Greater Manchester Music Hub and look forward embracing the new opportunities it will bring to enhance the musical offer for all young people in our region

We are hiring!

The successful candidate must be able to teach pupils from beginner to Grade 8 / Diploma on violin and viola, and they will join a fabulous, dedicated, and inspirational team who will support you and your professional development. They will be supported with resources and shadowing opportunities of other Trafford Music Service staff. Qualifications on violin or viola – a minimum of Grade 8, is required to be shortlisted for this position. Candidates without specific training / qualifications on either Violin or Viola will not be considered.

We are hiring!

We are looking for an Orchestral Percussion tutor to join our team. This role is for a committed and inspiring teacher to deliver individual/small group orchestral percussion and drum kit lessons to children aged 7-18 (school years 3-13) at our music centre during term time. On a Tuesday and Friday evening the role will include supporting our percussionists in our ensembles for part of the time.

On Sunday 10th May, We are delighted to invite your child to a fantastic Singing Day hosted by Trafford Music Service, in partnership with the National Youth Choir.

This exciting event will take place at our Centre in Sale – The Claremont Centre, Claremont Road , M33 7DZ – and is the first of three inspiring singing days across Greater Manchester designed to bring young voices together.

We warmly welcome all students in Years 5–8 to take part. There are:

• No auditions or experience required
• No cost to attend
• Just a love of singing and a willingness to have fun!

Places are limited, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
