Congratulations to our Tuesday speech and drama students (Hiya location groups) on their exam results! 100% distinctions. LCM results have come through sooooo quickly, just 3 days turnaround!
We always love congratulating everyone on their achievements, it’s a lovely way to close our speech and drama term. Well done!👏🎭🎉

We’ll be at Hiya tomorrow morning from
10.30 offering a free drama workshop to children age 6-14 who are interested in joining our weekly classes from Tues 6th Sept.

We are busy planning our trial classes on Saturday 3rd Sept and can’t wait to set up in the new HIYA space at Stanley Square Sale.
Come along at 10.30 or 14.30 for a free drama workshop for ages 6-17. Pre-book via 07971 882790.
Classes will be in the new HIYA space every Tuesday after school.

Our classes are speech and drama based and promote:
🎭 drama skills using scripts
📖 story telling using our own tales or those of famous writers
😂 comedy performances through poetry speaking or acting
🗣 clear communication
🤔 critical thinking and character analysis
🧑‍🏫 directing and other leadership skills

And as skills grow and self belief increases we love to see:
😊 confidence building
🫶 passion growing for a new hobby
🌟 new friendships blossoming

Past students have gone on to study drama at college, university and drama schools, others have worked professionally.

A lot of students learn for fun, for self esteem growth and for confidence.

Many ex students say that drama lessons helped them in all aspects of spoken communication in the workplace or for interviews at higher education institutes.
