http://events.hct.ac.ae/en/fir2020/
We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd International Business Conference: The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Transforming Businesses (FIR 2020). The success of any business is based on how it embraces the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The previous industrial revolutions were mechanization, mass production and rise of digital technology. The Fourth Industrial Revolution also known as Industry 4.0 is based on optimizing the digital revolution of the third industrial revolution. Thus the main pillar of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is Digital Transformation. The Business Environment has been transformed and businesses are being called (pressurized) to be more efficient, effective and competitive.
Last year’s conference received over 100 international and local submissions and 30 of these submissions were later published in the participating Scopus indexed journals. This conference is set to attract a wider international and local audience and is based on creating a reflection and (infusing) debate on how businesses are organizing and structuring themselves to fit into Industry 4.0. The objective is to research and discuss the Industry 4.0 and its disruptive business model in the fields of Analytics, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Human Resources, Tourism, Quality, Accounting and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The International Business Conference is organised by the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sharjah. Papers presented in FIR 2020 will be submitted for publication to SPECIAL ISSUES of 3 Scopus Indexed Journals.
