We’re looking for a warm, fun and experienced nanny to care for a 2-year-old boy near Cullompton.

Monday–Wednesday
20–30 hours per week
£17–£20 gross per hour

Driver with own car essential

He’s a happy, outdoorsy little boy who loves exploring and Forest School-style activities, so we’d love to find someone who enjoys getting out and about and creating fun, engaging days for him.

We’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ professional childcare experience
- Current Paediatric First Aid and confidence responding if a child becomes unwell
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to complete one)
- A warm, reliable and proactive approach

Ofsted registration is desirable but not essential, and the family are happy to support the right nanny through registration.

✨ NANNY VACANCY – PENZANCE, CORNWALL✨

Looking for an experienced, proactive nanny to support a lovely family with their two children: a 5-year-old boy and a young baby.

📍 Penzance, Cornwall
🕗 From 8am
📅 3+ days per week – flexible for the right candidate
⏰ Minimum 25–30 hours per week

This role will primarily involve sole-charge care of the family's baby, so strong newborn and baby experience is essential.

Their eldest attends school just a few minutes from the family home, with the nanny supporting with school runs, after-school care and activities when required. During the school holidays, care will include both children.

We're looking for someone who is confident taking ownership of their day, enjoys getting out and about with children and can become a trusted and dependable part of family life.

The ideal nanny will:

• Have excellent newborn/baby experience
• Be confident with sole-charge care
• Be proactive, organised and able to work independently
• Enjoy outings and activities with children
• Be confident caring for siblings of different ages
• Be a confident driver
• Be able to swim
• Hold Paediatric First Aid or be willing to update this
• Be comfortable working within the family home whilst Mum may also be present
• Be flexible when Dad is working away, when some longer days/additional support may be required

Duties are predominantly childcare focused, including preparing children's meals and bottles, keeping children's areas organised and generally tidying up after the children as you go.

There may also be occasional evening, overnight and travel opportunities by mutual agreement.

The family have a French Bulldog, so you will need to be comfortable around dogs.

This could be a fantastic long-term position for an experienced nanny looking to become a valued part of a family.

This weekend saw a fabulous 3 day celebration at Trelowarren estate organised by Out Of The Ordinary Weddings

When you have big celebrations with guests travelling internationally to attend, it's inevitable that little ones need to come too. That's where we came in. Two nannies supported on the Friday evening, all day on the wedding day, then over to the beach for the post wedding celebrations on Sunday.

The support of two nannies allowed the guests to be fully present and enjoy the celebrations throughout the weekend.
