Congratulations to Katie, who has successfully completed her teacher training with CELT and secured her first teaching role at Newquay Tretherras, where she will be teaching Religious Education and A Level Politics from September.

Katie's journey is a fantastic example of how teacher training can open the door to a rewarding career, helping young people develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of the world around them. We're proud to see her take this exciting next step.

Today, we're incredibly proud of every student across CELT's five secondary schools as more than 1,000 young people receive their GCSE results 👏👏👏

Across our schools, students achieved thousands of qualifications, with strong outcomes in English, Maths and a wide range of subjects. There were hundreds of the highest grades awarded, alongside countless individual success stories that deserve to be celebrated.

We're especially proud of the progress made by students. We are grateful to the families, teachers and support staff who have encouraged and supported them every step of the way.

Whether students achieved the grades they hoped for, overcame personal challenges, secured their next step or simply gave their very best effort, today is about celebrating them all.

Congratulations to every student across Brannel School, Bodmin College, Newquay Tretherras, Penrice Academy and Poltair School.

We can't wait to see what you do next.

Enter our Extreme Reading Competition by sharing a photo of yourself reading somewhere imaginative and fun. Whether it's in the garden, at the beach or on holiday, we'd love to see it!
