For some children, joining a new class is exciting. For others, that first step through the door can feel a little daunting.

They might not know anyone yet.
They might be completely new to dance.
They might be quiet, unsure or still finding their confidence.

And that’s absolutely okay.

At AMDA, we want every child to feel welcomed, included and part of something from the moment they arrive.

There’s no expectation to already know the steps, be the most confident in the room or have danced before. We’ll meet them where they are, help them settle in and give them the chance to learn, make friends and grow at their own pace.

Because sometimes the biggest step isn’t a dance step at all…

…it’s simply walking through the door. 🥹🩷

HELLO EAST NEUK 👋🏼✨

We’re back for a new term at Ashleigh Montador Dance Academy ~ AMDA and we’d love to welcome some new faces into our Academy family. 🩷

Based locally in St Monans and Cellardyke, AMDA offers Dance, Freestyle and Acro for children from their very first experience of dance through to advanced and competitive training.

But for us, it has always been about much more than learning steps.

✨ Building confidence
✨ Making friendships
✨ Feeling part of something
✨ Getting active and developing coordination
✨ Learning new skills
✨ Performing, progressing and achieving at their own pace
✨ And most importantly — enjoying coming to class

Some of our dancers love performing and competing. Others simply love coming each week to dance, have fun and spend time with their friends.

There is a place for both at AMDA ⭐

If you’ve been thinking about finding a new activity for your child this term, beginners are very welcome and two-week trials are available in classes with spaces, giving your child the chance to come along and see if AMDA feels right for them.

Don't miss our first Community Event as part of the Anstruther Harbour Festival in the large (upper Town Hall). It's a chance to see some of the great things going on in the local area that you can get involved in. Drop in at any time between 11-2pm on Saturday. Free snacks and refreshments 😋

Out bright and early at Morrisons, giving up their time to help pack bags and raise funds for their dance journey ✨

Not only are they dedicated dancers, but they are kind, respectful and hardworking young people who represent our Academy so beautifully in the community 🫶🏼

Every penny raised is going towards competition costs, travel and giving these dancers the best opportunities possible 💫

Is your little one full of life and always jumping or dancing around?

We have the class for them! Jumping Jellybeans and our Mini Dance & Acro classes introduce ‘Mini’s’ to the basics of Dance & Acro through playful movement, rhythm, and simple routines.

With a focus on socialisation, timing, and confidence, these classes are designed to channel all that energy into fun and learning, while giving children a fantastic start on their Academy journey.
