Day 4 of my nail course 💗

Today was without a doubt the hardest day so far.

I walked into class feeling confident but the moment I picked up the nail forms everything seemed to go wrong. There were moments of frustration, plenty of huffing and puffing and at one point I even walked out and cried. 😅

But after 10 minutes I came back, took a deep breath and kept going. Struggle after struggle I pushed through and looking at this finished set now I couldn’t be prouder of what I’ve learned and achieved today.

A huge thank you to all of the educators for their patience today, encouragement and support when I needed it most. And the biggest thank you goes to our lovely model Mihaela Însurățelu , who sat so patiently for hours with a smile on her face. Thank you for being so understanding and supportive while I learned this incredible technique. 💕

Growth doesn’t happen when things are easy, it happens when you want to quit but choose to keep going.

Day 3 ✔️

Today was all about Dual Forms, and wow… what a learning curve! 🤍

It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I honestly loved every minute of it. I’m so proud of how today’s set turned out and excited to keep developing this technique.

I’ll be offering Dual Forms as a service soon, but first I’ll need some lovely models to help me practise and perfect my application before it officially launches.

If you’d be interested in being a model, please bear in mind that not everyone’s natural nails will be suitable for this technique. I’ll need to see a clear photo of your natural nails first to assess whether Dual Forms are the right fit for you. 💅✨

A huge thank you to Oana for today’s training and guidance, and to all the lovely ladies for your support, encouragement, and laughs throughout the day. It really does make the learning journey even more enjoyable. 🫶

Day 2 smashed! 💙

I’m honestly overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge I’ve gained in just two days. From learning hybrid nails and better product blending for stronger, longer-lasting nails, to new filing techniques and another Russian manicure method, my brain is definitely full! 😅

I’ll be implementing these new techniques wherever I can, especially if I have a little extra time during client appointments, so just giving you all a heads-up if you notice some new touches and refinements along the way. ✨

Every set is another opportunity to learn, improve, and perfect my craft, and I’m so excited to keep growing. 💅

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all well!

I just wanted to send a little update about some changes and exciting things coming to Glanna Beauty over the couple months.

Firstly, the price increase that was due to come into effect in July will now be delayed until August. There will also be some changes to the way I currently offer nail services but I’ll be sharing all the details with you very soon.

I also wanted to let you know about a personal decision I’ve had to make. Due to my eyesight becoming much worse recently I have decided to stop offering lash extensions. As many of you know I always want to provide the highest standard of treatment possible and unfortunately my sight problems have made it increasingly difficult for me to do lash extensions to the standard I would like.

This definitely wasn’t an easy decision as I’ve loved doing your lashes over the years but I know it’s the right one.

Please don’t worry if you already have lash extension appointments booked – all appointments booked up until August will still be honoured.

The exciting news is that from August.. the lovely Lauren will be joining us at Glanna Beauty to offer lash extensions every other Saturday! I’m so pleased to be bringing someone so talented into the salon and I’ll be sharing more information about Lauren and her services very soon.

I will still be offering lash lifts so those aren’t going anywhere!

I’d also like to remind everyone that the wonderful Amy will be joining Glanna Beauty from August, offering Botox and dermal filler treatments. More information on Amy’s treatments and availability will be coming soon too. And if you still haven’t put your name on the list then now is the time.

To celebrate all these exciting additions and changes, we’re planning a little gettogether at the salon. We’d love for you to come along, enjoy a glass of bubbles, some nibbles, have a chat with us, ask any questions you may have about aesthetics and watch a live demonstration. It will be a lovely opportunity to meet everyone and find out more about the new treatments available at Glanna Beauty.
