I was so moved reading your card, Sarah. You worked so hard through a tough course, and I’m just grateful I could be there to help guide you along the way.

One thing I’m reminded of every tutoring session with a new student:

Students don’t rise to the level of their potential — they rise to the level of their preparation.

In my one-to-one Maths tuition, I see this proven again and again.

When students receive personalised guidance, tackle challenging A-Level problems with expert support, and learn to think like examiners, something shifts:

 Their confidence grows.
 Their accuracy improves.
 And the mindset moves from “I hope I get the grade” to “I know exactly what I’m doing.”

That transformation is the heart of Pythagoras-Tutoring.
Through one-to-one sessions, I’m able to:

 focus deeply on the areas each student finds most challenging
 teach the habits and strategies used by top performers
 give immediate, tailored feedback every step of the way
 accelerate progress long before the exam season arrives

If you’re a parent looking for structured, high-quality one-to-one support A-Level Maths — grounded in a proven examiner-led approach — you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Only the proven professional expertise has a decisive impact on student progress!

A good geometry question taken from Facebook! You need to find the exact area of the blue shaded region. Be careful that we deal with a rectangle , not a square. (Answer 48-12.5π)
