World book day is celebrated on Thursday 5th March 2026 - if the children would like to dress up during the week 2nd - 6th March they are welcome but please do not go out to buy new costumes - use what you have at home! we also have plenty of dressing up the children can use. We feel things like this can cause some fanatical strains on some households that is unnecessary.
All children will receive a book token regardless of if they are dressed up or not!
We ask that costumes are easy for the children to get on and off for toileting and nappy changing purposes.

For your awareness, Nestlé has issued a precautionary consumer recall for some batches of SMA Infant Formula and Follow-on Formula.

Advice for parents:

This is a precautionary measure and there have been no reported cases of illness.

If you have bought any of the affected products, do not feed them to babies.
If a baby has already consumed the product and you have any health concerns, seek advice from your GP or NHS 111.

Nestlé has taken the precautionary step of recalling several SMA Infant Formula and Follow-On Formula because they may contain cereulide toxin.
