We care for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years.

What a busy week we had celebrating our school leavers! We took a trip to the Rare Breed centre before having a memorable pirate graduation party!
As much as we are sad to see them leave, we are excited for their new adventure and have loved celebrating their Bears House journey with them! ❤️

Following our recent Ofsted inspection, the setting are delighted to have received a 'good' rating in all areas!
The inspector noted how friendly the team were and wrote in the report 'Children thrive in this welcoming nursery’. She also observed how children engaged with their environment and the variety of activities on offer and went onto write 'Leaders have introduced a strong and ambitious curriculum’.

Everyone at St Leonards is over the moon that they were able to show what a wonderful experience it is to be a child at Bears House Nursery!

Following our theme of people who help us we had another exciting visitor at nursery this morning!

Sussex Police came to visit us to talk to us about vehicles, different titles within the police force and most importantly showing us the police car, where we got hands on putting the sirens and lights on!

We had the best time ever this morning with a special visit from the fire engine! The children got to sit inside the truck, exploring the equipment they use daily to help tackle fires and preschool got hands on with using the hose to knock down the targets!

Today we were very lucky to have a special visit from Lilly the Lamb!

The children loved watching her trot and stroking her beautiful white fleece fur!

Thank you to one of our parents for bringing her along this morning to meet us!
