Our brand-new cabin is on its way and is due to arrive during the summer holidays! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible support of our parents, carers, friends and local community, we are one step closer to creating a fantastic new space for our children to learn, play and grow.

Prior to the surf leavers trip, Joel who is a water safety development officer/ lifeguard at RNLI visited the preschool children to run through water safety.
Joel talked the children through each of the flags and what they stand for, the children took part in games helping them to remember to surf, swim or stop when they see the flags at the beach.

The children went through some dangers they might spot at the beach and importantly showed the children the technique to float if they find them selves struggling in the water.

🏝️ Our Leaver’s Trip 🏄‍♀️

Today we enjoyed a fantastic day out for our leavers trip , we headed to Porthmeor Beach for a surf lesson. The children, parents and staff had the best day learning to surf, beach games and finishing off with lunch and ice cream!

A massive THANK YOU to St Ives Surf School and Porthmeor Beach, Cafe Bar and Surf School, St Ives for delicious food and a fantastic time!

Job Vacancy: Cleaner (Part-Time)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team.

Details:
• Hours: 4 hours
• Timing: Flexible start - this can be done any time after 4PM on a Friday or over the weekend ready to open on Monday morning.
• Duration: Term time only
• Pay: £12.71 + holiday pay

The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, take pride in their work, and be able to work independently.

Some of our team recently attended a woodwork workshop focused on early years activities, and we’re excited to start building on these new skills with the children.

We are incredibly grateful to have received a donation of tools in memory of a much-loved grandparent, Nigel Guard – Maeve and Ronnie’s Grandad. This thoughtful gesture means a great deal to us.

We’re really looking forward to putting our new tools to good use and creating meaningful, hands-on experiences for the children.
