🎉💜 THE DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! 💜🎉

It’s the first day of a brand-new preschool year and we are SO excited to be opening our doors again for another year filled with fun, learning, laughter and lots of special memories! 🌈✨

We’ve missed all of our wonderful children and families so much over the summer, but while our doors have been closed, we’ve certainly been busy behind the scenes! 💜

We’ve spent the summer reviewing, updating and improving different areas of our preschool to make sure we continue to provide the highest standards of care and education for every one of our little ones. 🌟

Everything is ready, our team is excited, and we simply cannot wait for all the fun and learning to begin again!

We’re thinking of and sending lots of love to all of our wonderful preschool graduates who will be starting their exciting new adventure at big school this week!
We already miss you all so much, but we know you are more than ready for this next chapter. We are so proud of every single one of you and everything you achieved during your time at St Marks Preschool.
Go and have the BEST time, make lots of new friends, learn lots of new things and most importantly… keep being your amazing selves! 🌟

As if we hadn’t already had enough fun, as soon as lunch had finished, a double-decker party bus pulled up outside ready for even more celebrations! 🚍🎉

The children couldn’t believe their eyes as they watched the bus arrive and eagerly climbed aboard. What followed was an afternoon filled with laughter, dancing, games, and making even more special memories together as we explored a play centre on a bus!

Saying goodbye to our school leavers is always the hardest day of the year. It’s a day we put so much thought, time and love into because we want to give our children the very best send-off as they begin their next adventure. They deserve nothing less.

We had the most amazing day together and hope the children enjoyed every second of it too. Although our time together at preschool may be coming to an end, it isn’t goodbye. Once you become part of our St Marks Preschool family, you always will be.

So it’s not goodbye… it’s see you soon. 💜

As so many of our children are absolutely loving K-Pop right now, our Graduation Party simply had to be K-Pop themed! 💜🎤✨

And if you know St Marks Preschool by now... you'll know we never do things by half! 🤩

Not only did we have a K-Pop themed party... we actually had K-Pop come to our party! 😱🎉

Rumi, Mira and Zoey came along to make our graduation celebration simply unforgettable! 🌟🎶

The children were treated to an incredible performance before they even got the chance to sing along with them! 🎤💃🕺

We played lots of fun games, won plenty of prizes, danced our hearts out and were more than ready for a well-earned lunch as we said goodbye to our very special K-Pop guests. 💜🏆

But surely that was the end of our Graduation celebrations... right? 🤔

Absolutely not! 😄

The next exciting surprise was just around the corner... 👀🎓✨

Another song we learnt especially for our Graduation Ceremony was a K-pop graduation-themed song! 🎤🎓✨

At St Marks Preschool, we pride ourselves on getting to know every child and ensuring that their interests help to shape the way we teach, learn and celebrate. Our Graduation Ceremony was no different!

Over the past few months, many of our children have developed a huge interest in K-pop, so it seemed only right to include it in our special day. This was definitely a tricky song to learn, but once again the children completely blew us away. Their confidence, enthusiasm and determination shone through, and they performed brilliantly in front of their families.

The excitement didn’t stop there either…

As soon as the ceremony was over, it led us straight into our next celebration of the day — our K-pop themed graduation party! 🎉💜🕺🎶

At St Marks Preschool, we learn and use Makaton as part of our everyday communication. 💜

For our Graduation Ceremony, the children learnt a brand-new song and used Makaton signs alongside it. We are always amazed by how quickly the children learn, remember and confidently use Makaton, and seeing them perform together was such a special part of our celebration.

The children worked so hard to learn both the words and the signs, and they performed beautifully in front of their families. It was a truly heartwarming moment and one that we will all remember for a long time.

This song was chosen especially for our graduation, and it couldn’t have been more fitting – because our preschool really is a Sky Full of Stars! ⭐🎓✨

We started the day with our Graduation Ceremony! 🎓💜

This was a very special celebration where we invited our families into preschool to look back on first days, the wonderful memories made along the way, and to celebrate each child as they graduated from St Marks Preschool.

It was an emotional rollercoaster reflecting on everything the children have experienced during their time with us. Looking around the room and seeing how much they have grown, developed and achieved made us incredibly proud, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house! 🥹

Then it was time for the parents to leave and for the real fun to begin… 🎉✨
