What a beautiful but emotional day it has been today, we’ve had our graduation party to say Goodbye to Millie & Eden 🥹 🎉 Class of 2026!
Millie was only 6 months old when she started here and Eden was 2, they’ve both became the best of friends and it has been an absolute pleasure watching them grow into the big girls that they are today, we wish you both all the best in your new journey at school 🏫
We can’t wait for updates and pics of you both in your school uniforms 🫶🫶💕💕

Today we learned about St George’s Day 🐉 🗡️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
We looked at a power point all about St George and how he slayed a dragon, the older children asked questions about “why he wore a tin foil suit” 🤣 they learned it was a suit of armour and that it protected St George

We then explored a St Georges Day sensory fine motor skills activity
Yes we do lots of them, “WHY?”

The children really enjoy them
It helps to strengthen the muscles in their hands and fingers
It helps with hand eye coordination
They get to explore different textures and smells
They can mix materials, colours, mark make, scoop the list goes on but today they learned how to blow down a straw to move the rice and make patterns

Today is Earth Day and our little rainbow tots have all enjoyed learning about the Earth

We have learned that the Earth is round and that the Green colour represents the grass/forests, the blue colour represents the sea and that we have to help look after the Earth by putting litter into a bin and that recycling helps the Earth a lot ♻️ we talked about using the different coloured bins and we learned that plants are a living thing and that they produce oxygen

We talked about how we would travel on land, sea and air and we then explored an Earth Day foam sensory activity, we used vehicles, paintbrushes and our hands to make marks in the foam to see how colour can be changed and we were able to describe the texture and the smell, some of the older children were practicing writing some letters from their names 🎨 🖌️ 🙌

March has been lovely, we’ve welcomed better weather, and had lots of fun
