How to get to the winter retreat…..

If your coming past Rebellion Roast House….

You can of course come past the Pier House and come across the harbour bridge.

There are plenty of toilets situated around the harbour or pop into the Pier House 🤫🤫🤫 I don’t have one inside the retreat itself.

We are all go from Thursday…. Bookings are live. I hope to see you all soon 🥰

✨ Something new has arrived in Charlestown… ✨

I’m so excited to introduce All About You Winter Retreat, my beautiful little seasonal treatment space nestled within the historic harbour at Charlestown. 🤍

I wanted to create somewhere that feels a little different — peaceful, cosy and tucked away from the busy outside world. A place where you can switch off, slow down and have some proper time for yourself. Please be advised there is not a toilet inside but there are plenty of toilets around the harbour so visit one before you arrive….

Throughout the winter I’ll be offering a carefully selected treatment menu including:

🌿 Japanese Head Spa
🌿 Inlight 100% Organic Facials
🌿 Swedish Massage
🌿 Relaxing treatment add-ons including back massage and foot & leg treatments

The retreat is appointment only, so when you’re booked in, the space is calm and private for your treatment.

I’m still based at All About You in St Austell too — the Winter Retreat is an additional seasonal location and something I’ve been working really hard to bring to life.

I am available in the main salon Wednesdays at the Moment for the beauty treatments and Charlestown the rest of the time….. this is until the end of March….. if I do have a quiet day in Charlestown I can be available in st Austell so just give me a shout

Why I chose Jennifer Young Oncology Touch 🤍

When I decided I wanted to train in oncology massage, I knew I didn’t just want to learn a few adaptations to a standard massage. I wanted to truly understand how to safely and confidently support someone through every stage of their cancer journey.

That’s why I chose to train with Jennifer Young Oncology Touch.

The training has taught me that cancer massage isn’t a “one size fits all” treatment. Every person, every diagnosis and every stage of treatment is different.

I’ve learnt how to adapt treatments around surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, lymph node removal, ports and PICC lines, fatigue, neuropathy, sensitive or compromised skin, lymphoedema risk and so much more.

It’s about knowing where, when and how to adapt — while still giving someone a beautiful, relaxing treatment that allows them to feel cared for rather than clinical.

I’ve also learnt so much about the products we use on the skin during and after cancer treatment. Jennifer Young skincare has been specifically developed with people affected by cancer in mind, with careful consideration given to ingredients that may not be appropriate during certain treatments or where hormone sensitivity is a consideration.

For me, that level of knowledge was incredibly important.

And having been through cancer treatment myself, this training means even more. I understand how much your body changes, how vulnerable you can feel and how lovely it can be to have a little piece of “normal” again.

I want my clients to know that when they come through my door, they don’t have to be frightened to mention cancer or worry that they’ll automatically be turned away from having a treatment.

Instead, we’ll talk, we’ll adapt, and we’ll make the treatment about you, your body and where you are in your journey. 🤍

This is exactly the direction I want All About You to grow in — treatments with knowledge, compassion and a genuine understanding of the person on the treatment bed.
