I feel like i’ve blinked and this whole year has passed me by!!! Does anyone else feel like this?

Or maybe, it’s because I’ve been having so much fun.. this has been the best and busiest year for Beauty Training South West by far, forever feeling so lucky this is what I get to call my work 🥹🙌🏼💖

Guysssss LOOK at the acrylic extensions my student Abbie did today at my acrylic extensions conversion course!!!! 🤯😮‍💨🔥

This course is designed for qualified and confident nail techs working with hard gel or builder gel extensions, who are experienced in nail prep, shaping, removals and infills process already who want to add acrylic extensions to their treatment menu 💁🏼‍♀️✨

We spent the day working through introduction to acrylic, acrylic over lay, the use of tips and forms - Abbie wanted to just focus on form work today - refining, structure and finish.. and wow, she’s unreal already!!!!

Abbie has previously been to the academy for a hard gel extensions refresher and now she’s back for acrylic it was lovely to catch up 💖💖

Can’t believe we had two beginners waxing courses last week! 😱🥰

It’s been a great week introducing 4 students to the world of body waxing, it’s such a great treatment - it’s quick, one of the easy treatments to pick up with practice and extremely profitable!

Our beginner course is suitable for anybody with no previous experience covering a huge number of areas:

Facial waxing (eyebrow, lip and chin)
Under arm
Forearm
Bikini and extended bikini
Half leg and full leg
Foot and toe wax

Naomi is a waxing expert in both strip wax and hot wax.. did you know we recently launched our brand new female intimate waxing course too? 🤫✨

What an amazing evening for our brand new nail art workshop 🥹💘

Nail Art Unlocked 🔓

A mix of designs from animal prints, fruit, flowers Halloween and Christmas! Covering so many different techniques you can then apply to any nail art design.. leave feeling confident and excited!

We had such a fun evening with a lovely group of girls, it was an opportunity to meet other local nail techs and talk all things nail art 🥰

Taught by our incredible educator Lenni - the nail art queen herself! 👑

And this.. is why I LOVE eyebrow mapping 🔥

When I first trained in brows it was quickly applying the tint all over, wacking the wax on and that was it. To say I was nervous to ever touch anyone else’s brows again was an understatement!!! 😱

I always dreaded eyebrow treatments everytime anybody booked in and then came along eyebrow mapping.. a process I first saw when I went to get my own eyebrows microbladed.

I was hooked!!!! Obsessed, couldn’t believe how symmetrical my eyebrows looked. I knew this is what I needed to learn to boost my confidence as a brow tech.

So when I was planning my training courses I knew this was on of the main parts of the course i would really take time to explain, breaking it down into simple terms, making sure every student felt confident and excited to do their next set of brows once they left - so if you’ve been thinking about booking an eyebrow course.. this one is for you!!! 🫵🏼🥰
