What a fantastic morning at parkrun! 🌟

Students, staff, families and friends from Penrice Academy laced up their trainers, embraced the challenge, and proudly represented our school community. Whether you ran, jogged, walked, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines, you were all part of something special. 💙

There were plenty of smiles, some personal bests, lots of encouragement, and perhaps a few tired legs afterwards! 😅👏

A huge well done to everyone who took part. It's wonderful to see our school community coming together to promote health, wellbeing and having fun outdoors.

📣 Year 9 Update 🙌

Year 9 tutor teamship activities are well and truly underway this half-term with a 9GS vs 9JS mini dodgeball tournament yesterday morning!

The competition was fierce and fun, with the energy being taken into Thursday's lessons.

Our tutor groups have been out on 'walk and talks', litter-picking, and fun challenges within their tutors since returning in September to build on that feeling of belonging.

It is brilliant to see what they are getting up to and being invited in to get involved as well. Keep it up Year 9, you are brilliant!

🎨🐢🐠 Creativity in Action! 🍎🎨

We’ve been impressed by some fantastic homework produced by our students this week!

Our Year 9 students displayed their artistic skills with beautifully observed fruit bowl drawings, demonstrating careful shading and attention to detail. 🍎🍇🍌
Meanwhile, our Year 7 students created some wonderful fish and turtle illustrations, bringing their imagination and creativity to life. 🐠🐢

A huge well done to everyone who put in the effort to produce such high-quality work. We love seeing the talent and dedication of our students both in and outside the classroom! 👏✨
