The Snug ethos💡

Curiosity and creativity is at the heart of what we do, with wonder and questions treated as the engine of learning. Play and discovery are the primary source for learning, child-led and adult-enriched.

Behind every moment of play is a team of qualified early years educators. We model language and actions and extend their thinking with new words, experiences and questions. Our educators observe closely, plan around each child’s interests, and know when to step in and when to step back. It’s skilled, intentional practice that builds vocabulary, problem-solving and confidence, and helps children learn and become happy, confident, curious little humans🧡

Open Day - Saturday 3rd October. 10am-12pm.

Role play isn’t just play… it’s powerful learning ✨

In EYFS, role play helps children explore the world, build confidence, and develop key communication skills. Whether they’re pretending to be shopkeepers, doctors, or superheroes, they’re learning to express ideas, solve problems, and understand others.

It sparks imagination, encourages teamwork, and supports emotional development in a fun and meaningful way 💛

Play really is the work of childhood. 🌱
