Ah another brilliant gang finishing our 4 week Throwing course with . Geoff, Liz & Michael are all regular Open Access potters at the studio however they all wanted to have some guidance in improving their individual skills.
The course focuses on throwing simple cylinders, shaping them, trimming and today we had a lesson on pulling and attaching handles. Hilary guided them all with great patience and understanding, adapting techniques to suit skill level.

If you'd like to learn or improve your throwing abilities and have some focused time on techniques, this course is for you. Hilary is running the next course starting on Thursday 4th June at 1pm. Book your slot on our website.

Could be the opener of a joke πŸ˜ƒ

A Chicken, a Boot, a Whale & an Octopus walk into a bar........

But what would the punchline be?

Fab makes out of the kiln from our latest Introduction to Ceramics course and our Open access potters. πŸ‘πŸ‘
