🏆2025 DISTRICT ATHLETICS CHAMPIONS 🏆

Aboyne Lodge won 6 out of the 8 trophies, including:

🏆 the girls overall trophy,

🏆 the most points gained trophy

🏆 combined Girls and Boys winners trophy.

Congratulations to all 26 pupils that took part in the St Albans Small Schools District Athletics this week.

Lots of greaat results accross the events:
Girls - 1st and 2nd in throw and high jump, Y5/6 relay winners 🥇🥈

Boys - 2nd place throw 🥈

Y4 Girls & boys winners of shuttle relay 🏅

Plus lots of first places and finalists in the sprint races from year 3 to year 6. 🥇🏅

Fantastic achievement everyone.

Yesterday we celebrated Age without Limits Day and we were pleased to be part of this years campaign - Celebrating Ageing and Challenging Ageism.

Some of our Year 6 pupils were interviewed to represent the voice of young people, showing their understanding and perspectives on ageing and physical activity.
