Last week, Dani and Natasha, went back to St Mary's Infant School in Baldock to work with the team to redevelop the outdoor area. There is still a way to go with the development of this space but we were so excited to show you what has been done so far!!

Dani and Natasha joined the team at St Mary’s Infant School in Baldock last week to redevelop the indoor environment and the transformation is incredible. Everyone worked so hard and the space now feels so inviting and ready to welcome our new reception cohort.

The new EYFS, effective from 1st September, states that 'Providers must have regard to the following guidance on children's screen use in early years settings.'
Here is that guidance:

Evidence shows that screens can have a big impact on children and their development in the early years. Screen use should be avoided for under 2s and limited to up to an hour a day for children aged 2 to 5. You should take a precautionary approach to using screens in your setting by limiting screen....
