Playschool Nursery St Albans

An exciting week in our Under 2’s last week as they had been busy exploring lot’s of fantastic activities, from baking, eating their own pancakes on Pancake Day and even exploring a sensory insect themed tuff tray!

Last week the preschool children were busy learning about Diwali and fireworks! We made clay Diya lamps to celebrate the festival of light, and we explored rice rangoli patterns. We also matched numbers to quantities with our rocket cutting and sticking activity along with making bonfire display pictures using paint and straws to blow the paint across the paper! 🎆

Last week we were busy exploring lots of spooky Halloween activities! We developed our fine motor skills in our spider web tuff tray, using tweezers to explore the different sensory and creative resources trapped inside the web. We also designed our own spooky pumpkin faces! The children in Preschool also really enjoyed following two-part patterns, hammering different coloured golf tees into pumpkins! 🎃👻
