Specialist small group tuition is running on Thursdays 6:45 - 7:45 with very limited slots available.

This is a monthly tuition package where you can select the lowest tier (tuition sessions only) or add on further 1:1 support if your child needs further coaching.

Equations are worth 30% of your Physics GCSE marks, and are particularly challenging where sustaining focus for extended periods is an issue.

Here's one of the scaffolds I use with one of my students with ADHD. This gives them a process to follow that locks in the first marks early (even if they get the final answer wrong). Exam overwhelm is reducing, and marks are starting to go up... 📈

It's just magic when my old Year 11s get in touch. 🥲

This student didn't think they'd be able to do A-levels as their overall grades wouldn't be good enough.

Now they're in Sixth Form studying their favourite subjects (which doesn't include Physics 😨 but their GCSE result got them there!).

The reality is (whether we agree or not), qualifications can open doors and Physics tuition helped get them on the career/life path that didn't seem like an achievable option for them.

Here's what you should look for in a SEND tutor:

✅ SEND experience, either professionally, personally or someone who has SEND children (all three in my case!) - it's important that they will understand the challenges your child is facing

✅ experienced teacher who has extensive knowledge of supporting a range of students with different needs - they should be able to explain a concept in at least three different ways, adjust their approach & respond to challenges as they arise

✅ curiosity about your child and how they learn & how they feel about the subject - they need to create a safe space in which your child feels comfortable making (and learning from) mistakes, know when to focus on the work and when to focus on building rapport
