📸 All parents over the next few days capturing those first day moments!

There is something about this time of year that feels like a fresh start for everyone. New classes, friends, teachers, and feelings 💛

We think it is one of the best times of year to try something new.

Best Theatre Arts autumn term starts soon in St Albans and Ware, with classes for ages 3 to 18 across musical theatre, acting, youth theatre and early years.

There are no auditions or star parts, and there is something for everyone to explore their creativity and find out what they are made of.

Even after nearly 30 years, getting feedback like this from parents is something we will always be grateful for ⭐

We’re proud to be a community that children call family, and to be a place that gives them confidence, friendships and skills that turn out to matter in every part of their life/

That is what we are here to be.

For every child, at every age, from their very first Saturday morning with us to whenever they are ready to move on.

We have a variety of classes for ages 3 to 16 in St Albans and Ware, with Autumn Term starting in September 2026.

A lot of parents ask us whether 3 is too young to start a class, and we completely understand why 💛

Starting something new is a big deal for little ones (and for the grown-ups dropping them off)!

What we can tell you, after nearly 30 years of Best, is that when the environment is right, age 3 is a wonderful time to start.

Our Beginners classes are designed specifically for ages 3 - 5, combining singing, movement, drama and creative play in a warm Saturday morning session built around how children this age learn and develop.

Led by early years specialists, these classes truly bring out the best in little ones without ever putting them under pressure to perform before they are ready.

It is a place to be who you want to be, without judgement, without being compared to anyone else, surrounded by people who are rooting for your child.

Somewhere fun and a little bit silly, where confidence grows quietly, and friendships bloom 🤩

Throughout the year, your child will share their work with you and perform in a big show alongside our older students.

Trials are available so you can see if it’s right for them.

To our amazing GCSE students getting their results today… 💛 Whatever those results look like, we hope you take a moment to realise just how much you’ve done.

GCSEs aren’t just about the exams. They’re the early mornings and late nights, revision, pressure, and uncertainty.

Through all of that, you showed up and you did it!

With us you’ve acted, sung, danced, laughed and made the best of switching off from school for a few hours.

For some of you, Best School of Acting, Best Youth Theatre, Musical Theatre or The Company has been your weekly escape during the chaos of GCSEs. For others, it’s been a place to challenge yourself, build confidence, find your voice and work alongside people who share your passion.

Whatever your results are today, we’re celebrating you.

We’re proud of every one of you and everything you’ve put into getting here.

Whether your next step is college, sixth form, more training, performing, something completely different… or you’re still figuring it out, we hope you know that you have so much more ahead of you 💛

These are the things that build resilience and set you on your path to independence.
