Walk this Sunday morning. Back in May we walked this route to raise funds for mental health awareness week and the Striders decided to repeat it once again. A lovely mix of open countryside and woodland and we even found our green ribbon to help navigate the route!

The Saturday Strollers at Highfield this morning walking a circuit which took us through the park, along open fields and farmland. A walk ‘n’ talk in lovely company with cooler temperatures making for great walking weather, even though the ground is hard going at the moment. Good supportive footwear is key.🥾🥾

First time out with the Striders this morning on our Extender Explorer WALX, following a route I personally hadn’t walked for quite a few years. It was a lovely mix of open countryside and common land, with shaded sections along the Hertfordshire Way and through the woodland.
The temperatures were ideal for walking a few more miles, although we did have a few wrong turns to start with! Thankfully, we soon found our way and managed the more familiar return route. A great morning out with the Striders.
