Young people show leadership in different ways. It can be seen in the questions they ask, the ideas they develop, the people they bring together or the challenges they care about.
The Global Youth Council is looking for exceptional 16–18-year-olds from around the world who demonstrate these qualities and are ready to build on them.
✅ Leadership
They take initiative, bring others with them and create positive change.
✅ Vision
They are curious about the world, open to different perspectives and motivated by what the future could look like.
✅ Social commitment
They care about the challenges facing their communities and want to play a role in addressing them.
✅ Communication
They can express their ideas, listen to others and contribute to a conversation.
✅ Talent
They have developed skills, interests or abilities they are committed to pursuing, whether through academics, sport, the arts, technology, entrepreneurship, service or another area of interest.
There is no single profile of a Global Youth Council Fellow. We are looking for young people with different talents, experiences and perspectives. What matters is the potential they demonstrate and what they could contribute to a global community of peers.
If someone you know demonstrates these qualities, share this post with them and encourage them to apply.
Applications for the Founding Cohort are open until the end of October.
