Congratulations to our new Highway Maintenance Apprentices at SQS! They have now completed the first week of their induction and are doing great.

We had a really successful apprenticeship Open Day on the 9th of September 2025 here at SQS. We had 36 attendees and 18 were successful in their interviews and will join the SQS Highway Maintenance apprenticeship scheme in October 2025. Well done to everyone who attended!

Have a strong work ethic?

Great time keeping?

Want to build a career?

What you will need:

You will need a full manual driving licence and a vehicle to get to work (minimum of 12 months holding you license, no more than 6 points)

Relevant construction or outdoor work experience

Be Physically fit

If you don’t have maths and English qualifications you will need to do these as part of the apprenticeship if you are under 19, don’t worry we work with you on a one to one basis
