So it’s the end of an era for some of our children. Today our Den children spent their last time at nursery for our Graduation party 🎉 A great time was had by all!

Thank you to all the parents who joined us today and for the amazing gifts, cards and very kind words.

We will miss you all. Your children have made some fabulous memories for us all.

EXTREME WEATHER WARNING! Plan for next week.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Given the extreme weather conditions that are heading our way, we have decided to close early next Monday and Tuesday. We will remain open in the morning but will be closing at 12.30pm.

Children are extremely vulnerable to high temperatures, as it is harder for their bodies to regulate their temperature. We adapt as best as possible to these 'once a year ' weather conditions and usually manage ( well, struggle is a better word to use ) As temperatures have reached the 30's already and next week is getting worse we feel this is the best decision for our children and staff.

Our Actions so far have been,

Lots of water activities
Calm activities in the shade
Regular drink breaks
Sun cream is applied throughout the day.
Lollies and ice pops have been provided
We have taken the children inside during the warmest/hottest times of the day.

Apologies for any inconvenience this will cause, but we feel this is the best decision for the safety of everyone.
