It’s been 2 years but I finally made it back to a ski slope this week. A lovely week away with two families, two boys under 15 months. Time with the children and time on the slopes. Can’t get much better than that.

I know how tough homeschooling can be. I also know that creative writing, and finding new ways to express how I am feeling, is incredibly good for my head, particularly when the world seems so precarious. To be clear, I am not a qualified teacher and could never substitute for the wonderful and tireless work of your actual teachers. That said, I have spent a lot of time writing and thinking about ways to tell stories and express myself and would love to share some of those things. My aim is to create an informal, creative writing workshop for secondary age students, studying from home, which will begin next week over zoom. They're free and will last around 45 minutes to an hour.

Please know, that I want to extend this as much as possible to people in different time zones and of different ages. For now, I am starting here, but when I find my feet with the format I hope to expand.
