All set up on this beautiful sunny August morning for Forest School. Due to a number of enquiries and requests I will be running sessions during the Summer Holidays - Here are the dates.

I am a Level 3 Forest School Leader with ITC Level 3 Paediatric First Aid and 16 hour Forest School First Aid.

Forest School Experience is run at Noakes Grove Nature Reserve Redgates Lane Sewards End.
This is a beautiful reserve teaming with wildlife. Birds, Animals, Insects, Butterflies, Bees, Dragonflies and Damselflies and Wildflowers.
Activities include Rope Walk, "Lava" Bridge walk, Nature Scavenger Hunt, Go Find it Game, Pond Dipping, Bug/Butterfly Hunting, Under the Microscope, Nature Walk, Identifying Plants, Trees and Birdsong.
Using hammer and cloth to create Leaf Art, Toasting Marshmallows around the Log Circle Fire and most of all HAVING FUN!!!
Forest School Experience with Dave is a non-profit venture.
THERE IS NO AGE RESTRICTION - Noakes Grove is Buggy/Wheelchair accessible.
I am passionate about teaching children about our natural world, our environment and sustainability and for families to enjoy the experience together.
Sessions are held during School Summer Holidays on Thursdays/Fridays from 10:00am to 12:30pm.
Sessions cost £15:00 per Family there will be a maximum of four families per session
Please bring snacks for Picnic/Lunch.

We had another super Forest School session yesterday. Once again it was so wonderful to see the children using their imagination to create beautiful pieces of leaf art using hammer and cloth, to make woodland creatures using potato peelers for whittling, palm drill and bow saw. The enthusiasm and excitement as they found creatures pond dipping and running around with nets trying to catch butterflies, damselflies and dragonflies.
We all enjoyed finishing up as usual round the log circle fire toasting marshmallows.
