Family Hubs are offering the following programmes and courses to parents of children aged 3 and 4 around speech and language and school readiness. These are suitable for any child where parents have concerned about their child’s speech and language development or worries about them starting nursery or school.

Currently for children aged 3 and 4 years - WellComm is a tool to identify children who may be experiencing struggling with their speech and language development, and provide strategies and activities for parents to use at home.

Let's Talk at Home is a course for parents and carers of children aged three to four years.
These play-based sessions are fun, practical and filled with talking tips to help develop your child's speech, language and communication skills, at home using their favourite activities.

This course is aimed at parents of children aged three to six years. It looks at how you interact with your child, and helps you to promote your child's social, emotional and language development to get them ready for school.
Family Hubs also have information for parents in booklet form and replicated on the website looking at understanding language, spoken language and speaking clearly.
