✨ What a fantastic first day back at Rye College! 📚

It has been wonderful to welcome our students back and see the school full of energy, enthusiasm and smiling faces once again. The corridors, classrooms and break spaces were buzzing with activity as students quickly settled back into school life.

A special mention goes to our new Year 7 students, who have made an excellent start to their secondary school journey. They have approached their first day with confidence, positivity and maturity, and we are incredibly proud of how well they have settled in.

We're excited for everything this year has in store! ✨

🎒✨ Welcome back, Rye College! ✨🎒

We hope you've had a wonderful summer and are enjoying the final few days of the holidays.

We're looking forward to welcoming all students back to school on Thursday 3 September.

📍 Year 7 students can enter via the back gate, just as they did during their transition days. Year 7 will assembly on the MUGA at 9am for Mentor registration and head straight to assembly (first day only).

📍 All other year groups should enter as normal via the student entrance on The Grove.

We can't wait to see familiar faces, officially welcome our new Year 7 cohort, and start another exciting year of learning, opportunities and success together.

Starting Monday at Hastings Country Park, the Naturebytes Wildlife & Technology Club gives young people the chance to discover nature through trail cameras, wildlife surveys and conservation technology.

🎉 Congratulations to our Year 11 students! 🎉

Today, we celebrated the achievements, determination and resilience of our Year 11s as they collected their results and prepared for their next steps.

Whether progressing to sixth form, college, apprenticeships or training programmes, we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished during their time at Rye College. Their results reflected not only academic success, but also the hard work, commitment and growth they demonstrated throughout their journey with us.

As they celebrate with friends, staff and families, we wish every student the very best for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Students can collect their results from 10.00am to 12.00pm in the English Block.

Our staff will be on hand throughout the morning to provide support, answer questions and help students with their next steps.

We're pleased to share this upcoming reunion event being organised by the Rye Old Scholars Association for former students who attended Rye College between 2005 and 2015.

This is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet former staff members and take a trip down memory lane with tours of the school and refreshments included.

🗓️ Saturday 10 October 2026
⏰ 12.00pm – 4.30pm

A number of former staff, including Mrs Ann Cockerham, will also be joining the celebrations.
